Owning a garage is perhaps every motorist's dream. In winter it protects against snow or frost, in summer against hot interiors, bird 'greetings' or Sahara sand.

A garage is a property, just like an apartment or a house. And although we probably don't plan to live in it, when buying it we should pay attention to details as well as other realities.
When offering to sell a garage, you should pay particular attention to:
Whether it is dry, it does not flow water into it, or whether the walls and tracks of the garage are not damp or even wet. Follow the garage before buying it, not only in perfectly sunny weather but also in the rain or just after it. And also during the winter, when moisture can get into the garage from below, for example from damp snow, which rests on the wall of the garage.
Mold is already a proof of continuous humidity and should be a warning signal to buyers that everything is not completely in order. Humidity can decompose the entire building if maintenance is neglected. And then the dream of refuge for our four-legged pet could become a rather dangerous ruin, which not only does not protect it, but can also seriously damage it.
The most common and most popular garage equipment for sale is electricity (important, for example, for charging today's increasingly popular electric cars), an assembly pit, or sometimes even a water supply. But the most important thing is that there is enough space in it for everything we plan to put into it. However, shared garages for motorcycles are no exception today, as sometimes two or three machines can fit under one roof.
It is ideal if the garage for sale is located on its own land. This will avoid an undesirable situation where, in theory, you can only have a sheet metal or concrete structure that you can take to the garden - if it can be moved at all.
If the land is not part of the sale, you are better off if the land is owned by the city. There is a slightly lower risk that the city decides out of nowhere to use the land for another purpose. But it can happen, of course.
You will find yourself in the worst situation if the land under the garage is the property of another private person (person or company) than the owner of the garage itself. In this case, it is good to check the legal relationship of the garage itself to the land on which it stands.
A garage gate is just as important as the rest of the garage for sale. It can be mechanical or manual, iron or plastic, remote controlled or 'manual'.
It suits everyone differently and it is up to personal preferences whether you decide to invest in 'electricity' or stay true to the old-good double-leaf iron gates and the three padlocks on them. :)
